EYS proprietary process

R&D

The first step we take before production is research. We believe in innovation and that is our business model. Our research and development team are constantly searching for creative ways to incorporate more value added products to satisfy all of our customers’ needs.

Sourcing

We then go out to the field and buy our raw materials from local traders. Generally, this waste has no end value and becomes land-fill. However, through our EYS proprietary system we can turn this into a usable product.

Sorting

This waste is sorted out by hand. By removing unusable waste by hand we can ensure the quality of our product is intact. Since, we do not use any additional dyes or chemicals manual labour also assures the colour of our end product remains uniform throughout the process.

Fiber Processing

The selected materials are then shredded to form fibre, followed by mixing with recycled PSF, made from crushed recycled PET bottles. The colour shade of our product is also determined by the blending ratio of PSF and the cotton. This is our other method of controlling the colour.

Spinning

The mixed fibre is then spun to form EYS yarn. We do not use any form of chemicals to improve the quality of our product. Therefore, we do extensive mechanical work through our machines to meet our customers’ requirements. Why Open-End? In contrary to standard ring spinning, open-end spinning consumes fewer kWh per kg which releases less carbon footprints whilst enhancing the usage of recovered fibers. We strive to reuse every waste from this process into other types of yarn for the market.

Twisting

Our facility also has a doubling equipment. At the request of our customers we can twist our yarns and increase the value of our product.
