This is the first product we developed, and we have a decade of knowledge about producing sweater yarn. By using higher yarn counts with a standard ratio of 70 to 30 cotton to PSF we can replicate a sweater yarn that is identical to products made using virgin cotton. The colour of this product is determined by waste fabric that we collect because we do not dye our yarns. Therefore, we closely work with our customers to determine the colour and quality of the final product. Recycled sweater yarn is a shining example of eco-consciousness and inventiveness in the field of sustainable crafting, providing a wide range of options while leaving a smaller environmental impact.
We have created a cutting-edge yarn made entirely of recycled denim. This was created by combining 100% recycled PSF with leftover denim fabric. No additional dyes, chemicals, or water were needed for this product. We have been able to faithfully recreate the color, texture, and tactile feel of denim produced from virgin cotton. Given that we don’t utilize chemical or wet processing, our R&D team carefully selects the perfect shade and modifies our mechanical parameters to get the desired strength to produce high-quality denim. Since the yarn’s CSP is determined by the ratio of denim cotton to PSF, we will modify this ratio in accordance with the needs and preferences of our clients.
Knit yarn is the most recent innovation. Because recycled cotton fibers are shorter than virgin cotton fibers, spinning for lower counts might be more challenging. Lower counts are also weaker, and the yarn’s hairiness and irregular diameter frequently degrade the quality. But we can routinely get higher counts that are on par with yarns generated from virgin cotton by utilizing our open end spinning integrated into our EYS technology. Our yarn produces fabric whose color does not need to be further dyed. The colour of the yarn is pre-selected by the customer; therefore, we collaborate closely with them to make sure their requests are fulfilled throughout the production process.
Although our end product is recycled yarn, our factory also provides a service of breaking down different types of spinning and non-spinning. Our EYS system has a MARGASA recycling machine that can break down both garment and textile wastes into fibres that have a length of 18-19mm. This fibre can be integrated into virgin cotton spun yarn. All fibre produced in our facility will be GRS and RCS certified. Some of the wastes we can break down:
